AMERADO PRAISE LANDYNBOY TO BE THE NEXT KING OF RAP…..

Terry Owora known by the stage name Landynboy is a Ghanaian rapper from Akuapem. He rose to fame for his rap music in Ghana in 2018.

Landynboy was born and raised in Abiriw, Akuapem in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He attended Nifa Senior High School for his senior high school education.

Landynboy started his career when he was discovered by Abibirem in 2015 as he emerged third at the Solid FM Freestyle Show to join fellow rapper Strongman Burner at MicBurnerz Music.

He was summoned to feature on the GH Youth All-Stars hosted by Nyarko Abronomma to compose the official song for the youth in Ghana.

In 2017, Landynboy released his lead single “Se wamba” which announced his presence in the music industry in Ghana. The song was rated 3rd in the Top 10 Ghanaian songs of January 2017 listed by Pulse Ghana.

He released his first EP titled B3ma under the Abibirem Music label in November 2017. He was called up later in 2018 to feature on the most talked about hip hop song ‘Koobi Nkwan’ by Landynboy.

The song was nominated for the Best Hiphop Song and Best Edited Video at the 2019 Ghana Spotlight Awards.

On 1 October 2020, the founding father of the popular music genre Rapper, Amerado took to his Twitter page to announce Landynboy as one of the best rappers to ever come from Ghana.

Police give a strong warning to pastors ahead of 31st night

Police warn against doomsday prophesies ahead of watch night services

The police have reminded religious groups and leaders to be measured in the communication of end-of-year prophecies that could spark panic and controversy in Ghana.

With the public interest in mind ahead of December 31 watch night services which are often used by men of God to deliver prophecies, the police warned that religious freedom is still subject to Ghana’s laws.

Police in a statement commended the various religious groups for their cooperation over the period.

It further entreated the general public, especially faith-based groups to ensure continuous compliance with the law as it relates to the communication of prophecies.

“Let us continue to remember that whereas we have the right to practise our faith in religion, freedom of worship and speech, this right must not be exercised in violation of the rights of others and the public interest.”

An example of such prophecies was in December 2018, when the head pastor of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah incurred the wrath of some Muslims after a prophecy that the Chief Imam could die in 2019.

The Odorkor branch of his church was vandalised as a result of the prophecy.

It is a crime for a person to publish or reproduce a statement, rumour or report which is likely to cause fear and alarm to the public or to disturb the public peace, where that person has no evidence to prove that the statement, rumour or report is true.

It is also a crime for a person, by means of electronic communications service, to knowingly send a communication that is false or misleading and likely to prejudice the efficiency of life-saving service or to endanger the safety of any person

Shatta wale and medikal storm Accra sports stadium with their Freedom Concept

Shatta Wale and Medikal had a capacity crowd showing up at the Accra Sports Stadium for their Freedom Wave Concert.

The much-heralded concert came off on Sunday, December 25, 2022, coinciding with the Christmas celebrationsThousands of fans trooped to the stadium to patronise and support the two artistes, who command large followings in the country.

In videos that have gone viral on social media, fans could be seen occupying every section of the stadium even before the show started.

The Freedom Wave Concert was also graced by other artistes, including Black Sherif, Wendy Shay, Quamina MP, Kofi Jamar, Phrimpong and Joey B.

Before the concert, Shatta Wale had expressed hope of filling the stadium following Wizkid’s no-show some weeks earlier.

“…if we want to fill the Accra Sports Stadium we can fill it but when we fill it they should say we have filled it because it is not easy…this December the fans can come and fill the other side. We want to invite everybody to come to celebrate Christmas with us,” the dancehall artiste said, as quoted by Ghanaweb.

“I believe companies will pay huge sums to see the crowd lined up like this…all you see at the stadium is love…All those people you see at the stadium are like family members. We don’t stress to even get these numbers to the stadium…this show (last year) we put out the flyer a week to the show. We didn’t do a billboard or promo.”

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale has thanked his loyal fans for showing up for his concert, writing on Twitter: “Thank you SM Fans. Thank you again loyal blood SM fans. I owe you my life.”

Award-winning rapper, Kwaw Kese has expressed surprise at the budget for President Akufo-Addo’s National Cathedral project, A church for the nation.

Guesting on Accra 100.5 FM’s ‘Ayekoo Ayekoo’ on Thursday, December 22, 2022, he was asked to choose a figure he considers as the best to lead Ghana beyond the two leading political parties of Ghana. New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC).

“I’ll choose myself to be President of Ghana,” he answered.

“Easily,” he responded when asked if he was competent for the herculean task.

The form of governance “we’re practising right now is a foreign and impractical idea,” he asserted.

On how rampant churches are, he cited: “As I speak to you, you can go to some schools and notice how the entire facility is divided into different churches per classroom.”

He wants all churches centralised.

“We’re worshipping one God,” he stressed and asked why various denominations of the Christian faith cannot worship together. “Why should we have different churches?”

The ‘The World’ hitmaker argued: “We are worshipping one God and if you claim you’re worshipping one God then that one God should not discriminate between the various denominations because we’re all worshipping one God.”

Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana, born February 1977, is a Ghanaian broadcast journalist, currently with Okay Fm as the station’s Drive Time host. In 2016, he was announced as a Tourism Ambassador for Ghana.

In 2017, he was listed in the top 100 Tourism personalities in West Africa by the Balafon Awards West Africa Committee of Experts.

Santana was born on 16 February 1977 in Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He had his basic education in Koforidua at Nana Kwaku Boateng Experimental School. He attended Secondary School at the Ordinary Level at Ghana National College, Cape Coast.

At the Advanced level, he completed Ghana Secondary School in Koforidua. After his national service with the National Archives, Public Records Department in 1996, he joined radio in 1997.his overall boss is Simon Baaman of Nakpanduri.
